THIS. I'm a FIRM believer that sexuality will eventually be only a preference. It'll shift from now, by this time next century it'll be much like interracial relationships shifted from the early 1900's to now. Personalities are what REAL lasting relationships are based on, not plumbing /rant

Hmm. my only idea is that Jim keeps hearing this music. He can't figure out where it's coming from, because he has no idea that Spock plays. Then he's literally blindsided by it; he walks in on Spock who is seemingly focused, and watches for awhile.

... of course he's forgotten that Vulcans have 'hearing far superior to a Human's'...
