Kirk was pretty much dressed like a hero from a romance novel during that whole movie.
Lovely art work. It made me smile.

Love this, saw it on tumblr and was enamored with it there and then smiled when I saw it here on livejournal. (Totally agree, btw, "Search for Spock" is first and foremost a love story).

Thank you :)
I love the pose too, it was just too perfect for what they were wearing.
And SFS is one of the greatest love stories of all time, yes.

I have always loved The Search for Spock...and what you have done here is so true. It is a romance novel....Can anyone think of another sci-fi movie where the lead man has to save another male...when Jim fights Kruge, and he is finally dead falling over the cliff...He quickly goes back to find Spock...and that scene when he lifts him in his arms, and holds him close....and Spock is just wearing that robe and nothing else....and the planet is about to disappear...yikes!!!! Talk about close calls...

And I just squeeeeeeeeeeeed when you mentioned the guys outfit in the romance novel....it looks just like what Kirk was wearing....he saves his love from death....lovely art by the way...

Great idea, great movie...loved it..

Thank you :D

And oh my gosh, finding that cover was too perfect because I thought people were joking about Kirk wearing the same clothes as a Harlequin Romance Hero.
