Somebody was asking about prompt ideas. I'm sure there are plenty of great ones out there, so anyone and everyone can share theirs here! You don't have to be a part of the challenge. Perhaps this thread will help authors who are struggling to think of an idea

jim finally get's so fed up with spock and bones skirting around their feelings for each other that he uses all his favors and bribing to get each of them to allow him to set them up on a blind date that they have to see to the end and thEN SURPRISE jim locks them together in a rec room with a romantic meal and candles and won't let them out till them admit their love

This one's actually really in character for Jim, haha <3 I think he'd just want his two best friends to be happy, and if it mean he has to force them to see what's best for them. :3

And the last one belongs firmly and deeply into hell, why the fuck would you ever post that, fuck fuck fuck. /throws chair through window

Tumblr user the-idea-fairy has informed me they have a blog full of Spones prompts and headcanons that anyone is free to use :)

Also! If you can't think of an AU or something, you could always do the "Missing Scenes" type of fic. Like, writing their relationship in the missing scenes of TOS or 2009 or Into Darkness. I think that's usually a good suggestion.
