Went to jamboree on the 13th and went to the workshops and everything and everything was amazing as always except the third workshop i went to they started talking about how homosexuality is a sin. and it wasn't the fact that they were saying it, it was mainly the fact that they were not leaving any room for opinions.. they said homosexual ( Read more... )

I belive that homosexuality is a sin, and I also believe that it is a choice...the Bible does talk about homosexuality in Romans 1:18-28, 32.

Homosexuals are still people. In the Constitution it is stated that "...All men are created equal..." Meaning, that all people are seen the same in the eyes of the law. If they are seen the same in the eyes of the law, then they should be treated just as equally and not be denied their right to marry someone of the same sex. Theres my two cents worth!

I guess I'll also add that I'm really unsure of where I stand religously right now. But I do believe that Homosexuality is something you're born with and that 'God' gives you, not a choice. I've heard about people that have been 'converted' to be straight, but can't contain that for long and go back to liking persons of the same sex. So if 'God' wanted all people to be straight, why would he make them 'gay'?

Basically, the verses I mentioned in Romans 1 talk about how people turned away from God and started "doing vile and degrading things with their bodies.." so God didn't make them homosexual, they chose to be that way.

I recently came across this post in an online journal dedicated to the acceptance of Gay and Lesbian lifestyles. Any adult should be able to choose who they want to marry, same sex or not. Fuck what the Bible says, do you take everything written literally? And by the way, women should be able to decide for themselves whether or not to have an abortion. The government and religion should not have a say in either case.

whoever this person is i totally agree with you. IF two people love eachother it shouldn't matter what sex they are. i totally support it, i mean it's the persons own decision on who they want to love and marry. As for the abortion, i support that also. If you get pregnant and don't want to go through nine months of hell you should be able to terminate the pregancy.

i respect what you say and all but what i say about abortion is that if you want to screw around and have sex willingly and all you shouled understand the consequences going in i think it should be made a medicinal subject and only rape victims and people that would be killed by the baby should be allowed no stupid chick who "accidently" had sex or some other stupid story

Sarah's right. I think that God did make ppl in all their glory and if he made them that way i don't understand y it says it in the bible. And also to who ever anonymous is I think ur right too...cuz it is her choice and the law and bible shouldn't say n e thing There's what i have to say. i agree with a sarah, and the anonymous person. fuck what ever the bible says it's your choice in life.. it's even better when your friends and family are behind you 100% they should love you no matter what. and it's not a damn sin! for all we know god could be homosexual. i dont live by the bible and never will. so if it's your choice in life. and you're deffiently born with it. homosexuality isnt clothing you cant wake up one morning and say "today i'm goin to be a homosexual!" it's deffiently something you're born with. it just takes a you awhile to figure it out. and i think everyone should be treated equal.
