so, today i quit my job. canvassing can kick itself in the gut and call it a day. i was going to be late, and i knew i wasn't going to do this for more than 2 weeks, so instead of waiting for my first pay check to quit, i just called in today to say, "um, sorry, i'm going to be late... and btw... i'm not coming in... ever. who were you canvassing for? it's like a cult, a freaky, misleading cult..

a had a few friends in kzoo that did it, and the money didn't even go to the environment, it went to lobby groups that supported candidates that supported the environment.

really kind of misleading, because they never actually tell you where the money goes.

but yeah, i can imagine it would suck to go door to door.

wow...i didn't even think about where the money went until you brought it up. i just assumed it went to the campaign... but you're prolly right... it prolly goes straignt to lobby groups.

which i wouldn't really mind working for actually. i think i might be a pretty good lobbyer.

fyi: PIRGIM, michigan's environmental group, working to make michigan more energy independent using natural resources like solar and wind as opposed to coal, which mostly comes from outside of the state. thus using natural energy sources, freeing up more jobs in michigan. that's my scrip in a nutshell.
