The concept of this made me lol. It had to be done.
Inspired by a conversation between me and Charlie.

Ms. Klugh had a strange way of elongating his name, especially in times of high emotions. Like anger. "Mee-kye-EE-ell! What is this doing here?"
Mikhail glanced over at the wall. At his poster of Nadia Comaneci, the great gymnast. "It's hanging on the wall." He shrugged and turned his attention back to the monitors, and jotting notes on scraps of paper.
"You know full well we agreed you would take this down." Bea stood there with her hands on her hips, waiting for an answer. "Mikhail!"
Pausing his note mid-sentence, Mikhail sighed. "I did take it down. Then put it up again. What's the problem with it? It's only a piece of paper, for God's sake." It was a very important piece of paper though, autographed by Nadia herself. It was one of the few things that made his life enjoyable anymore. The occasional guys night with a friend or two, his cat, and the poster of his cat's namesake. That was about it. Since they had to fuse his eye-hole shut due to a bad infection about five years previous, Mikhail found himself generally refused by Bea in most bedroom activities. And one day, he found his old poster in the shed and figured there was no harm in hanging it back up. It made him feel a little better. Quite a lot better, actually. But he couldn't explain that to Bea. Didn't even know where to begin with it, and what would be the point? She'd never listen.
"I'm going to go out for a horse ride now, Mikhail. I guess you can do whatever the hell you want, as long as YOU'RE happy." Bea left the room in a huff, leaving Mikhail to wonder why he was even still in this relationship. Convenience, he decided. She probably wouldn't let him end it if he tried. "Alright, then. Have a good ride, Bea," he called out to the other room. "Or, more like 'BeaOTCH,' amirite?" Mikhail grinned as the front door slammed shut.
