My goodness! Your whole family bailed out of your wedding? O_O; That's awful! I'm sorry and I hope that it will be a wonderful ocassion anyway.

Thank you! I succeeded in talking my grandparents into coming; they originally declined as well. All my other relations are not coming.

Your dress is lovely. I'm sorry to hear about the majority of your family bailing. But you can always spam them with photos and make them jealous.

i am so sorry that the whole family bailed on you, i cannot be responsible for the actions of blood relatives. it is hurting that you include me in this grouping of people knowing full well the situation here and *why* it would be impossible to attend an event i was very much looking forward to. i did try very hard to take a solo trip, but arrangements could not be worked out - this all hurts me as much as it hurts you.

i do hope you have a lovely day, that the showers take a break and all the plans go as you wish. remember that i am there in spirit, caught up in circumstances beyond my control. maybe one day you will forgive me and the bitterness that includes me will be resolved.

Since you wouldn't post who you are, I can only assume who you are. If you're that person, you need to stop taking everything so effing personally. I'm not going to name every exception to everything in my life, nor am I going to spout that X person is an exception because of Y private business that doesn't need to be out on the interwebs.

I consider only two people in my family to have a valid excuse, and you are one of those two people, you being with the other person. Everyone else's excuse was a load of horse crap comparatively speaking. Yes, I was bitter when I typed this entry almost a month ago. I've moved on with my life, and did not let any thing interfere with my wedding. Life is too short to get hung up on stupid little stuff.
