Once again, work sent me across the country, but here I am, just like a bad penny! ^.^

After scouring TSA literature for a while, I chanced taking both needlepoint and crochet on the plane, despite not finding acrylic hooks small enough for what I needed (the smalles I found was around 3mm). No problems, so that was a relief.

Hmm... I haven't crocheted much for years but I do remember the basics and I'm not sure what the pattern wants you to do either. o_o;

Yes, it is ridiculous how much health care costs here. -_- My mother is of the opinion that the doctors are more concerned with getting money from insurance companies than actually giving their patients good care.

Ah, I'll continue to play with it. I'm determined to work out how to make that shape - the Victorians had such novel craft ideas, but with the vagueness of their directions I can see why most of them aren't recalled these days.. >.< Their recipes are the same way. I haven't used my cookbook much because I'm still trying to figure out some of these things! :D
