Rules:

You will need to bring $5 to chip in for food.

What fun! This has been the nicest weekend I've had in a long, long time. Friday Chief and I slept in and then ran errands to aquire parts for various costumes (Celes/wedding shoes, Ackbar clothes, San suppplies) and then worked to bring San into being. A while back there was mention of me possibly getting a new sewing machine, a coworker's old Janome. After that we had issues at work (still not sure what happened, but we were cats and dogs that week) and there was no mention any further about it. I watched Saikano (She, The Ultimate Weapon) and liked it lots more than I thought. I generally hate love stories, but the fact that she has to run off and blow stuff up frequently helps. ^_^  I would love to make Chise's costume and gear, but so many have already done it with so much awesome, or I can think of people that are more suited to this ( Read more... )

Shawna (my coworker) just told me last night that she might be unloading her old sewing machine on me!!

 Still in LA, but the hotel is nice at least. The lady ahead of me pissed off the desk clerk, so he upgraded me to what would have been her room for free. It's freakin' sweet... because it's a suite! Panorama view (11th floor on the curved corner of the building), fully marble tiled bathroom... it rocks. Work stinks, and it blows I gotta fly back ( Read more... )
