ooc: Wandered here after seeing you in statistics, yes, this journal is still active...
*laughs ass off* ALIENS. But yeah, I usually ignore which years the books were published and stick to the time differential mentioned between the books, which is a little less confusing... if I recall correctly. (And anyway it's usually a case of, 'we pick off right after book X' and that tends to work for RP purposes? ;) )
Hmm, that would mean Lee should be sometime in 1980... And now he's wrinkling his nose at being/turning 31.
Hello! I noticed I wasn't the only person with C.B. Productions as an interest and had to see who else had it, and thus found your journal - if you were wondering how I found you. I was a bit surprised (and pleased!) to spot a Lee out there.
Yeah, that's what I did, but I like to have this sort of information for my own reference purposes - I'm kind of a geek. And "what year are you from" tends to come up in CFUD sometimes, so. Good to have on hand, as well as just being a case of not knowing would bug me, especially since Tony's a movie and TV person, and he might recognise other people depending on what year he's from and when their canons were released (and whether or not they're comfortable with it, natch).
Haha, yeah, Tony's still adjusting to the idea that it's 2011, but as it gets closer to his birthday, he's going to be wondering if he should be celebrating his 26th, or his 30th, or what, since he arrived in CFUD about a week after the final events of Smoke and Ashes.
HAH! :) Ye-es, almostaprince's mun and another Tony coaxed me into reading the books and I have Lee here and blindinthe_dark >.> (And I now have met Tanya Huff personally and it was awesome... *coughs*) and there is a TV series coming that will be over the Smoke books (ETA: Last info is, no, Tony's not going to get cut off; it was a possibility that was considered - that is, turning him into a girl - but current info is that Tony will be Tony. It's not certain it'll be possible to have Henry in it, though, that's why production is currently stalled, waiting to see if Kyle's other pilot will be picked up for production), and there's another short story of Tony coming out I think next month in an anthology and yeah...
That totally makes sense. Hah, I'm so not good at games (hence hanging around places like sixwordstories and dear_mun) and there it can be as flexible as I want? But, comfortable is v. v. important! :D
*g* I'd say 26th, then! More grounds for growing up...
Vicki~ ♥ I'm a little not-excited about the Smoke TV series, because from what little I've managed to dig up about it, they're planning on cutting Tony out and replacing him with a female "old friend" of Henry's, which is just- no words. :| Especially since I'd kill for a proper PB for Tony, I'm still not satisfied with this guy. >_> And now I see your edit. I do hope they go with Tony being Tony, because seriously, cutting him from his own series? But I'm extremely excited for the short story! I ordered the anthology from Amazon as soon as I found out. Also, awesome on meeting Tanya Huff - she seems like a really cool person, as well as a great author. XD
