I can see why. Didn't think there'd be a whole world out there that did things that way. But as long as you could depend on them, "family" would be a good name for 'em, I think. Whether it's the family you're given or the family you chose.

Well, dat was just de Junkyard. In Nirvana, t'ings were different . . . I t'ink. I don't remember Nirvana so much.

Dis place is way better dan Nirvana, though. I can tell you dat much already.

Only a little. Not everyone dere is a demon, dere's regular humans, too, not like de Junkyard. And de Karma Society is a bunch of jerks dat can go suck on a maragi mantra. [He scowls.]

Do you know what's going on here? There's a lot of newcomers . . . and people coming back. It's abnormal, unless this is something else that's changed.

*laughs quietly* I think I can live with missing the dinosaur. One can't have all the excitement, right?

*and soft, soft look* I'm glad you're well, Tony. It's hard enough to know you're on your own; knowing that you're badly off... *shrugs* Besides, who said you had to be patient? You may want to step up and start directing things a bit sooner than planned, though. If the circumstances permit it.
