I'm glad I checked my calendar otherwise I would have missed it. Happy Friday the 13th everyone. Did you all remember to watch which foot you stepped out of bed with this morning? It has to be a Friday though, otherwise it's just another simple date on a calendar. They say it brings bad luck, at least that's the common suspicion amongst the Western culture.

There are very many theories as to why exactly the date is said to bring bad luck. Ultimately, it comes down to 13 being an unlucky number and Friday being an unlucky date. Put the two together and... well, you understand.

Have you ever heard of some of the superstitions said to thrive on this date?
