I haven't been posting lately because I really haven't felt up to sitting on the computer. Things are going good. Food still sucks. Last night a huge group of us went to karoke at one of the local bars. I got a wee bit drunk and sang the song "Bitch" towards the end of the night. I did fall on my ass and now it's hurting. Day one is over and I must say it's been, um, thrilling. Today I learned about Fire Safety and how to use a fire extinguisher. We even went outside and used them. Of course, they were the water ones used on type A fires (wood, paper, plastic) and we only sprayed the grass, but it was the idea that counted ( Read more... )

After a 2 1/2 hour car ride from my folks' house, I arrived in Elizabethtown at the Pa DOC Training Academy. I checked in and found that I have a room all to myself.
