There's a cute little site called gaiaonline.com. You can dress up a little anime character, which is pretty much why I joined. But it's forum-based in it's communication. It's easy enough to avoid the public forums by joining Guilds or communities, but there are always, without fail, douchebags there as well

As for Gaia Online, I use to fiddle around on that site. I liked the games and such but I got bored with it soon so I gave my account away. I'm kind of shocked you're on it though. I didn't think you were into such cute things.

Sometimes I hate the anonymity of the net. It's like it gives people licence to be a prick. My brothers keep insisting that the way to fix that is to have a screen that punches people in the face. I doubt many people would download an application that hits them, though.
If it's Japanese-looking, I love it. I have a Hello Kitty phone dangler, or whatever they're called. I'm very much into cute Japanese things, haha!
