I just heard a Red House Painters' song (Cabezon) on a Walmart ad.

WALMART.

I want to find Mr Kozelek and smack him upside his fool head.

Yes, it's just the sort of trivial thing that bothers me enough to get up off the couch and write it down.  Barf.

Bloody hell! If there was one band I never could've imagined in that role, RHP would be they, and maybe the Replacements.

I don't think I would have minded so much if it were a commercial for something else, but I have serious Walmart issues.
And I could never see Westerberg selling out to that degree, either. But then, I would've thought the same of Kozelek.

i dunno, i can't really blame it. it was a decent commercial, and i too was surprised.
