Diazepam rules and burglars suck donkey cock

Apr 04, 2008 19:39

My flat got broken into. I am less than a happy bunny about this as they've taken everything of value I own.

So now I need to save up to replace things. Fun.

I have diazepam though.

I'm not doing so well on my own at the mo, so having people around is good. Please let me know if you're free to meet up. I would be grateful.

Yeah, they had to bust into my flat for me cos I thought the bastards were still in there when I got home on Monday night as they'd put my front door on the chain and I couldn't get in.

They'd long gone though and ransacked the place.

Forensics came and swiped over the place, but didn't really let on if they'd found anything. The guy did say that they'd worn gloves though.

Another officer came to let me know that a team is investigating it, and I've got to give them descriptions of all the stuff taken now.

*sighs*

What a horrible experience; you totally have my sympathy. I've never had the misfortune to be burgled myself (one of the advantages of always choosing to live in top-floor tenement flats), but I know how angry and violated I'd feel if it were to happen to me.

If the forensic folk don't manage to pick up anything, let's hope the perpetrators have been spotted by your neighbours or caught on spy-cameras or something.

Nobody saw anything, and there aren't any cameras in my area, so the bastards probs got away with it.

Meh.

If you fancy meeting up sometime after work to help me put off going home, that'd be very cool.

It'd be good to see you anyway :)

I'm in Whetstone, but am willing to travel so that I don't have to be on my own. Saying that though, the diazepam is helping.

Tonight will be my first night alone since. I've been doing ok considering it all, and if I have a major freak out tonight, Ed said he'd come straight over.

We'll see. But I would appreciate meeting up sometime for coffee or something one evening, just to keep my mind off things.

The only thing that they took that is a pain in the ass is my laptop. Other than that, they took a digital camera, a dvd, biscuits, handcuffs, the only jewelry I have that's worth anything, all my perfume and my dignity.

They'd been playing around with my ropes, so I've had to throw them all away, I mean... wrongness... and what they've taken my handcuffs for, I dunno.

I bought myself some clothes and perfume yesterday to cheer myself up, and today I went to make a snowman whilst mashed on vallium.

I called him Boner, as he has one. :D

Photos to follow.

Whoops, crossed messages there :)

I'm crashing over at Charlie's tonight and tomorrow night, but I haven't got anything sorted for Thursday yet, so I'd really appreciate the company :)

Thank you x

Fucking hell Sarah ... I'm so sorry to hear that!

The thought of someone taking stuff that isn't theirs makes me feel sick!

It's not so much the fact that they took stuff that makes me feel sick, it's the fact that somebody, I don't know who, has been handling my underwear and sex toys (yeah, wrongness).

I'm hoping to move soon. I've got to put a request in writing that I need to leave the place, so won't be a quick process.

i remember when we got robbed they handled all my private stuff too. what pissed me off the most is the laptop they took (from under my bed) was full of personal thought, writings, pictures and all that jazz it was pretty disturbing. i'm sure u'll be safer living in a flat with ur boy. xx
