The nice thing about this haircut (oh, by the way, I gave myself a hair cut) is that it's so shaggy anyway that I don't really need to brush it very often. Laziness wins again ( Read more... )

Yeah, it's crazy. I wonder if everyone does that or if we have the same manager? Mine is Bristol Equities... They tell us to leave the faucets dripping so the pipes don't burst, watch out for slippery stairs, and keep the temperature at 68 indoors or else!

I'm looking forward to a new episode of Portland bumpercars if there's snow.

Holland residential?

Yeah I'm pissed about this "leave your faucets dripping" shit. I'm from Michigan. We don't leave the faucets on. The pipes don't burst, as long as you leave the water heater on and don't let the house get below about 50. And here the water bill just divided equally between all the apartments which mean I'M going to pay for all the other dipshits that do it.

ESPECIALLY in 25 degree weather. Seriously. It's not that cold.

It's really funny. Well, it'll be 16 degrees at night, and our building has pretty much no insulation, so keeping it warm will be a strain for our little heaters and for the electrical bill. But we have some people here from Minnesota, who, of course, are used to -15 degree weather sometimes in the winter, and they're in fits laughing about it. I think there are so many CA transplants (myself included, but I'm used to Ohio winters) that they worry about people doing something ridiculous.
