I've been busy. Seriously: busier than ever before in my life, probably. Keep in mind I'm doing this post from vacation, okay? I'm committed to this list, I swear. I was never a Castlevania fan in the NES days, though I'm sure they've done remarkable things with the franchise since then.

Crash always looked fun; I'm a sucker for Mario-esque games.

Castlevania really hit its stride with the one I mentioned. Before that, the story was okay and the level design was great, but the jumping mechanics were so rigid the game was damned near unplayable.

And if you like Mario games, I suspect you'll like Crash even better. They still hold up--just not the ones that Vivendi made after they bought the franchise from Naughty Dog. They're not terrible, but they're much lesser.
