Hybrid bikes are great, because they combine the utilitarian aspects of a mountain bike with more road friendly features. Congrats!

This summer after my last department store mountain bike had broken in several very dangerous ways, I decided to go to a bike store and buy a good bike for the first time in my life. I went with the Raleigh Venture pictured here: http://agouracycles.com/images/library/large/raleigh_vntr_m_red_08_m.jpg

Three months later I am still every bit as pleased and excited about the purchase as I was when I bought it.
