Don't it always seem to go...

I missed the People's Choice Awards. Damn. Of course, all the pictures are flooding out here on LJ, so it's just like I had watched it. Because of course, I only watch these shows for my boys. I've watched more damn awards shows in the past year than I have ever in my life. For I am hopelessly devoted. And kind of pathetic for these boys. But ( Read more... )

i LOVE 'Scariest Places On Earth'!!! i get scared pretty easily, though. every time i watch them, i have trouble sleeping and being home alone. they're really good though. i just grab a pillow, cover all the cracks around my bed (in case something tries to reach up and grab me, you know) and curl up in the furthest corner of it from the TV. i have this channel that actually plays it a lot, like marathons of it. the scariest one i've ever seen was haunted irish castles. hfudgsjxdtggftjsyaa. they were investigating the dungeons and torture rooms and it was bone chlling. they actually did a show on famous haunted hotels and the Culver Hotel in culver city. you see...i live in culver city and have wandered through the culver hotel on many occasions, so actually hearing all these stories really wigged me out. when we were in there, we were finding all these little passages and were going through all the rooms (which are technically still able to be rented, but no one stays there ever) like "haha that sound was scary. let's keep going!". I missed that award show too. I actually watched the AMAs two months back, but of course I miss the one when they were on. lol.

It's taking some adjustment for me to get used to the shorter hair again, but I like it either way honestly.

That's the hard part. I still think of Mike with Bleach Blonde hair and roots. XD

So Billie got his hair cut, I see. It's all cute and spiky and short again. And all I've been seeing in the communities is "omgilovedthelonghairwtf!!11" Uh. Weren't they just saying a couple months ago how much they wanted him to cut it? Pff. I reiterate: Billie Joe is not his hair.

Yes it is. Haven't you heard? Billie Joe apparantly gets his ideas from his hair.

But i do agree with you. Everyone was like "BILLIE NEEDS TO CUT IT" now it's "BILLIE NEEDS TO GROW IT BACK!"

As for remake of horror films..aparantly Hollywood ran out of ideas so they're just taking old films and TV shows and remaking them. Kinda of annoying really.

I goddamn hate remakes, Hollywood can't make a good horror film anymore so they just go around ruining the old ones.

They show Most Haunted and similar shows all year over here.

It's just crap. Most of the time, Hollywood sucks at horror. Scream was a rare exception. The good horror comes from nobody independent filmmakers with a real love of the genre.

Lucky. The UK tends to embrace the spooky far more than the US, I've found. Over here it's really only "acceptable" around Halloween, which, by the way, I'm surprised is even tolerated in this country. Feh. Stupid uptight States. But that's a whole other rant.
