So apparently on Tuesday Sarah had to get the vet's assistant out (coz my vet's still bloody in America...grrr...) coz Sam got kicked by Charisma and fell into the barbed wire fence

Eesh, no fun having the vet out. Be glad you weren't there, though. Last time my horse was sedated, she stumbled onto my foot...and wouldn't get off!

Ouch!
Last time I was there for the vet it was at a show in August. He just haaaad to get spasmodic colic... Stupid horse... I didn't even get my vet out then coz he was on the other side of town.
Is it bad that I've never met my vet lol.

I don't think I've ever even called out the same vet twice. I mean, I guess there's a regular vet for non-emergencies, but I've never been around for a non-emergency, lol. I've dealt with 2 involving my horse and an eye injury, and then another while I was in charge of the barn when one of the boarders had a pretty horrible reaction to fly spray.
