I first read about Albert Ellis' ideas around 1994-95, while I was living in Arizona. At the risk of overstating the case, what I read made a measurable impact on the way I thought and behaved. I'm pretty sure that my life is at least a little better today than it would have been otherwise. He died today, aged 93. Rest in peace, Dr. Ellis.
