The sink at work hadn't been cleaned since January 2008. There were dirty dishes and utensils lying in the sink long before I joined the company, so you can just imagine how disgusting the sink became. Ewwww.... and I thought I was bad! haha

I remember when I was in Japan in our monthly newsletter thing they often had tips on what to use to clean various surfaces with stuff like vinegar and lemon juice etc. Maybe I should dig those up and see what useful stuff is in there. :o

I think for really tough stains sometimes harsh chemicals are the only thing that will do it, but for a lot of stuff probably the good ol' simple household items are good enough. =3

Our kitchen at work has the same problem. I found Seventh Generation's Free & Clear line of cleaning products very good, and no smells at all!
