Today, I went skydiving for the first time. It was a bit of a impulse decision, but I thought, "What the hey, why not?"

It wasn't really scary and was pretty fun, except my instructor (tandem partner) went a bit too crazy with his 360s. Felt sick for a while afterwards haha.

Only casualty was my wallet. :(

I only found the two minutes before the dive to be the scary part (probably just anticipation). The free fall felt like nothing because I was too high up and my brain didn't register the fact I was falling (relative to how I saw the ground). It felt like I was weightless. :)

How much was it? And where did you go?

I went to Pacific Skydivers in Pitt Meadows. (http://www.pacificskydivers.bc.ca/)

It was around $260 including tax. For a video, the price gets jacked up $100 to $360 (because you get some camera dude to jump beside you).

There's one in Abbotsford that's more popular and $20 cheaper ($240), but when I asked them questions on the phone, they did not answer me genuinely. The people at Pitt Meadows felt much more trustworthy.
