I think there's a virus on my computer.

I can't get on the internet and most things won't even open up. Non-internet things. Is it a virus? Does it sound like one? What should I do???

are you using firefox or ie?

well, this won't work through firefox, so if you can get ie to open you might try trendmicro's housecall because it runs through the internet to check your computer, so you won't have to open a program other than ie. that might be able to give you an idea if something's wrong. good luck.

how much of your system resources are being used? there might be a memory problem that won't let you open anything
