Read a lot, it'll make you feel better. I have a book of poems I want to lend to you. Have you heard of Li-Young Lee? His writing is fragile and pretty without ever overdoing it--there's a childlike simplicity to his poetry that never feels contrived and it always makes me feel better. Here's my favorite:

it's weird, i believe in karma, but i don't believe in god. it's like the god in my mind is karma. ... yea, you're right, i was going to disagree but i accidentally agreed instead.
