ms. fish actually said something that made me think today

"the funny thing about nostalgia is that usally the things people are nostalgic for never actually happened."

edit --> and today my [starbucks] coffee cup asked me whether I would rather be right or be loved.

yea, i can see that about you. this is pretty weird/random, but i could see danny kelner saying that even way more. i feel like people who are totally self-righteous (did i use that term correctly?) would choose your way, while people who are less sure of themselvs would choose love (as i do) because i am never sure when im right anyway (i get influenced easly).

1. i agree with ms. fish. but in my opinion nostalgia is one of the more beautiful and painful sadnesses and i love it for what it does to people.

2. i'd rather be loved. i know it's stupid and selfish but true. you?

i think wanting to be right is worse. it means you are so focused on your ideas that you can't back down. that would defenetly cause people not to love you.
yes, this time last year was all nostalgia for something i never had. it wasn't exactly nostalgia, but that type of longing feeling is best described as nostalgia for me. the weird thing is, i almost miss the feeling.
