ok there is this guy from Kansas that is going around to funerals of people who have died in the war because he says that them dieing is good because it's showing that america needs to change their thoughts on homosexuallity, his reasoning is people are dieing in Iraq because it's god's way of saying 'stop being gay' in america, and so we need to ( Read more... )

I heard about that, I purposefully put it out of my mind. That man does not know what he is talking about, how dare he take the bible (no matter how much I dislike what it says) and use it as a weapon. Not only is he using it to his advantage, but he's only taking part of it. He says 'Homosexuality is wrong' but what he isn't saying is 'But God loves the sinner, but only hates the sin'.

I may not be big on the whole 'War' thing, but I support the troops for fighting for what they believe in (I hope that makes sense). I mean, they just died, they deserve the basic respect that all of mankind deserves. I mean, he's practically urinating on their tombstones with what he's saying.

So much for having faith in humanity

Can't say as I have much opinion on it. The guy's got his right to free speech, his own opinion, etc. There's nothing wrong with THINKING the way he does, what is wrong is that he's FORCING it on others. Especially at funerals. That spoot faced jerk.

As for me, I'm glad Bush (more than a pseudonym for pubic hair!) passed that funeral anti-protest thing, and I can't agree that people are dying in Iraq for the sins of people here. People here are sinning and they'll get theirs in the end; the Bible itself says that no one but the sinners themselves will be punished.

Jeez that guy's a fathead.
I'm done. Gotta go to class!
