This is very interesting. I'll have to check out that book.

These days it's taken for granted that adults read YA. This book predates that by kind of a lot, but I think that it stands up way beyond the nostalgia factor.

Oh wow, now I really want to read that book for the 4th or 5th time (and first time in probably 20 years).

I've read it more times than I can think of. It was the first book I bought for Kindle. I don't know if it's better now than it was in 1988, but it's better now than it was in 1997.
