Last night was warm and windy, and despite the rain I wanted to sit outside and feel defiant and spring-like. I hunted my inherited green raincoat out from my camp tote and felt in the pocket-- I've been terrified of finding stuff in disused coats since I discovered an ossified ball of lint and Fruit Roll-Up in one in first grade. Guh. Bad memories

Sounds like something I'd say, mostly because it isn't "and this is why we don't lick strangers." That quote implies that someone ACTUALLY licked a stranger once, found out what happens, then did so AGAIN to show what happens, to the unedicated of us.
