So, I'm sitting in the library listen to some professor drone on about how to research gospel criticisms for my theology class. I'm bored, so I look at the desktop of the computer in front of me. On it is a folder labeled

Sorry I wasn't able to contact you when I was up your way this weekend. Among other things, the 'rents changed our cell phone service provider, so my cell phone was basically useless from Friday onward. Also, I was stressed out the butt, and probably would not have been much fun anyways.

Le sigh. This and the next three weeks are going to test my fortitude... although if I can screw up the courage to step in front of a slow-moving car, and therefore be able to tell my various profs that I got hit by a car and could I have an extension please.... well, let's just say it's a tempting option.
