Oh wow, this is so perfect. I really love your writing, I fell in love with it when I read And Both Shall Row, and now this just reinforces it.

~ I love how they're in their own little world, oblivious to everything:
Except that Kris doesn't stop kissing Adam, even though Adam isn't really kissing him back, and then he is, and everyone is toasting and kissing and hugging around them and they're just going, mouths opening hot, hot and wet and tongues pushing against each other, Kris's hands balling up the sides of Adam's shirt and Adam makes a soft low sound that short-circuits Kris's brain and he backs up, startled.
