PS - I don't even think I want to vote now. And I really do have a lot to say on the topic of absurdity, true absurdity, in the strictest sense, but I don't have the energy to do it now.

I had a very long reply that will basically turn into my post about absurdity, so I'll simply answer this: The fact that logic and reason mean about as much as to the media and the American people as rectal exams simply baffles me. Both sides treat this as a polite gentleman's game or something and it enrages me

It's not that I've really been arguing with people and they just won't see reason. The simple notion that Palin is being acknowledged as a legitimate candidate for Vice President is beyond me. It is, quite literally, absurd.

I'm still going to vote because I care about the rest of the world even if I think this is ridiculous. Obama is the face the world wants in Washington, and I'm a human before I'm an American.
