ok, so i think aaron is Claire's baby!! He's waaaaaay too blonde and fair skined to be the product of kate and sawyer (or kate and jack). Also the two eggs could represent aaron and suns baby. Or if kate is pregnant and that blonde child is hers, the two unborn babies
( ... )
I think Aaron is Claire's baby as well, but a lot of people were thinking that it wasn't, so I thought I'd throw the idea out there.
I've read the James Moriarty reference elsewhere, but considering that Dean Moriarty is such a famous literary figure, I think it was probably referring to On the Road.
JIN AND SUN! I'm taking bets.
Yeah, I addressed the fake plane in my last Lost entry, I believe. I think it was possibly the Widmores or the Hanso Foundation. Or the "Others", or Ben! Who knows!

I'm enjoying these posts. :-)
Aaron is totally Claire's Aaron IMHO. In addition to the other "evidence" the commercials leading up to this weeks episode said another of the 6 would be revealed and I believe it's supposed to be Aaron (the only other one that an argument could really be made for is Desmond). I think sun and/or suns baby is the 6th. Obviously they've established in the last year or so that the island is totally not in sync with real time and paths on and off the island sync with time differently, so I think that can somehow jive with the age discrepancies and such of the children.
Crazy as it sounds, as much as I'd like to see how this all plays out, I'm hoping the show kind of pulls a "Pulp Fiction" on us and that the end of last season with Kate and Jack is actually the overall chronological end of the show, and the rest of the series is just filling in all of the missing details. At the very least it'll take them a significant amount of the remaining 40 or so episodes of the series to cleanly close this all up.

Hi other person who reads stephanie's post. I thought aaron may be the another one of the 6, and i dont remeber if they were going to tell us another survivor, but technically arron wasnt a survivor of the flight, he was born after the crash. and desmond was never actually on the plane, like ben. Anyway, I'm glad someone else besides stephanie and I is really into lost!!

I don't think Aaron counts as one of the 6. He wouldn't be on the flight manifest. Desmond wouldn't count as one of the 6 either. On that note, I guess he can't really get off the island because they are pretending that there is nothing special about the island at all, so how would they explain his existence? That is, unless he takes on the name of one of the people who died in the crash. I guess that wouldn't work either, tho, because the family would know. I guess he could pretend to be one of the rescuers, tho. Juliet as well.
Do you ever listen to the Lost podcast? J.J. Abrams has said that the end of last season with Kate and Jack is not chronologically the end of the series. That is a cool idea tho, but a depressing ending for sure.
i just wanted to tell you i really appreciate these posts. i was bummed when you didnt post the previous week's post, but glad you did so now. it something i look forward to when i know i have a whole week to wait for a new episode. i was talking to ian while reading this, trying to convince him to dedicate his life to the show too. you should put the pressure on him, too. i dont think he gets what hes missing.
I told him he should watch it and he says he wants to but doesn't have time. What a turdburglar. Anyway, so I am probably way late on the game on this, but I just read this theory that because whenever Lost is written about in print (or on the ABC website), the show title is always in all caps, which would indicate that it is an acronym. Thoughts?
I think that Aaron is Claire's Aaron. I also want to note that Juliet will also be able to leave the island without being counted as an Oceanic 6. I also want to note that Aaron is not being counted as an Oceanic 6, because he was born after the crash. There are still 2 more left, which I think will be Sun and Jin.
I also am toying with the idea that some of Locke's group will leave the island, but since they are the current "villians" (I use that term incredibly loosely) and will more than likely become connected to the Others or Ben if enough time is spent with them, that they won't count as Oceanic 6. Especially, say, if Sawyer gets off the island using the name Sawyer and not James Ford?
Desmond will be able to leave the island as well! And Rousseau, for that matter. I don't think Rousseau will ever leave that island, tho.
I'm placing my bets on Sun and Jin for sure. Sun especially, because she will die on the island, being pregnant and all. Although, do you think the baby is perhaps not Jin's? Juliet would have every reason to lie about it, because supposedly if she is able to facilitate the birth of an island-conceived baby, she could go home. So she would have every reason to say it is Jin's when really it was whatshisname from Korea. Plus in this past episode, Sun said something about "my baby" and then Jin corrected her, saying "It's our baby" and then Sun just kind of gave him a blank stare.
But anyway, I think Sun and Jin are both getting off the island for sure.
I don't think Sawyer wants to leave the island, period. Who else is in that camp? We already know Hurley and Kate make it off. I can't think of anyone else significant, just a bunch of extras. Correct me if I'm wrong.
