I knew you'd probably be the only one to appreciate the whole 5/23 thing!
Remember when everyone was buying all those crazy alchemy books and trying to figure out the mystery and being just as nuts as LOST fans? It is kind of crazy that my two biggest fan obsessions, The Smashing Pumpkins and LOST, both end on the same day a decade apart. Let's just hope LOST doesn't start some crazy spin-off in seven years. Or release a book of poetry.

So, I'm now thinking that Sayid is Jacob (see my comment below).

Ugh, I'm going to have to go to the library this weekend to pick up all these books. I still have yet to read Our Mutual Friend, which I own!

Do you think Sayid is Jacob, or what? I mean, Jacob gave Hurley the guitar case, told Hurley to go to the temple, told him if he didn't, they would all be in trouble. Jacob found his own loophole, yeah?

Side note: In about two weeks I'm going to not be so broke. We should hang out, yeah?

I am totally up for Myopic Books! I love that place. Yeah, I'm just waiting on my tax return too, and then I won't be so poor. So I'll keep checking my bank account to see when it turns up, and then we can hang out!

I was totally going to suggest Sayid is Jacob!! Although, without that body, is Jacob still Jacob, or just a white essence? Also, do you watch the repeat of the episode the week after? They do like a pop up video thing, that's how I knew the name of the one armed dead guy.
Also, a few weeks ago, they were doing all these lost recaps (I cant remember what channel), where they were talking with the writers. They mentioned a huge love of the Wizard of Oz (Henry Gale?). And several other things I cant remember. I tivoed them, so I'll watch them and get back to you!!
PS - I love your lost updates!! I miss millions of things!!

OK, so that last post was me!! Also, maybe Charlie was meant to die the first time, but the crash and turbulance freed the drugs from his throat. He did have to go back to the plane to find it!!!
