you know i thought you two were extremely funny. i laughed nearly the whole way through your chat. you deserve 4 clarifications:
1. i have never been, nor am i now, "in love with" ben.
2. i was definitely obsessed with being understood, but never with ben.
3. you two twisted the compliment about "laps" to suit a need for conflict/drama.
4. perhaps ben doesn't remember, but i created a lj account because he told me about his 4 page blog entry and invited me to do so and read it.

i didn't twist your lap comment. I knew what you meant. same thing i meant in my comment. Glad you thought it was funny - i always forget there's a chance any conversation i have w/ben will be made public. To clarify my intentions - in talking w/both of you and reading both of your public comments, I sensed a disconnect in tone. ben lately has been dismissive in tone towards you (not always) and I seemed to detect a... desperation of sorts in your tone. Now you say you were desperate to be understood, which makes perfect sense. And really, this was my attempt at trying to do just that, understand where you both are coming from.

And who else did i offend? I really am going off the record next time!

my comment was wholly directed at ben, because he cracks me up. he didn't offend that other girl by posting your conversation but he kind of made it unsafe for you to confide in him without EXPLICITY TELLING HIM not to post it.

what's funny is: now the GIRLS ARE TYPING AMONGST THEMSELVES and being all careful and worried and self-checking. sweetly I might add, but, you know...it's silly.
