So. This really really, weird plot bunny bit me while I was driving home from class tonight. Possibly due to a lack of sleep. Anyway, I've already started writing (2 whole paragraphs. Also, I'm not sure if I'll have a draft ready in time, but I might send you a draft of my own story to look over if I get myself going early enough. Would that be okay? (I know that I keep asking you to beta and then not sending anything--that's testament more to my own procrastination than to skepticism about your editing skills.) Sometimes, just knowing that there's someone willing to read and edit is a comfort, whether you utilize that person or not.

Gee, thanks for rubbing it in that I'm stuck here in boring VA :) Seriously, though, I'm going to attempt to put some writing time in, but since I'm incapable of writing anything short, it may be a while before I post anything. I refuse to post anything that is not 100% complete. I'm weird like that. And in many other ways, of course.

I should also add that I'm very flattered by your desire to read my crazy crack!fic creation. *grins*
