Its true, however, not all mainstream HIPHOP sucks (and yes, unlike all the people who dont know anything about it will tell you, there is a difference between rap and hiphop. Hiphop is more singing/musically orientated where as rap is more centered around the rhyming).
For instance, Outkast is fantastic. So is Gnarles barkley (though they are more experimental hip hop).
However, your still right. Most mainstream hiphop/rap sucks balls.
