the one thing nobody ever tells you about cold weather is the static electricity. that's one thing we never really worried about in florida; the air gets way too dry up here. take off a jacket and you can hear the snap and crackle of static from across the room. slide across the bedsheets too quickly? gettin' zapped. rub the zombiedog too fast?

Where are you living these days that it's in the negatives?
It's been in the twenties and thirties around here, and yesterday I got shocked by my car door handle eight or nine times. It's fucking TERRIBLE.

i'm up in boone, nc. nice little college town up here; quite far removed from the lifestyles of metropolitan florida. needed a change of pace.
yeah, zombiedog does not care for it. she loves the summers tho.
