My dogs ROCK!

I went running 6.5 miles on trails (including big hills) with my dogs last night. That's a long way for my pups! The coolest part was when Josh went ahead with Donut (she is so fast, as is he) and he let Caboose off leash (we were the only people way out in the desert at sundown). Oh my gosh I LOOOOVE my dogs. They bring so much joy to my life. I credit ALL of my health and fitness to that dog. I weighed 30 pounds more before I got her! HA HA! She literally has changed my life! I never had big dogs growing up, so it was all new to me, but I am a MAJOR dog lover now.

I KNOW! Everyone should have a Caboose! She is the sweetest thing in the world. Now Donut...well...

Awww so cute. One of my exboyfriends dogs used to do that whenever we went hiking. It was soooo cute.

I always loved seeing people with dogs that were so attentive to them like that. Now that Caboose is 3 she is soooo good and listens to me perfectly. I am all for following the law and never have my dogs off leash, but this seemed very safe and I KNOW Caboose is so friendly, but still I realize some people are afraid of dogs. i thought no one was out there, but one mtn biker came by. I told her to sit and wait and she just stopped on the side of the trail and let the biker go by. I was SHOCKED! Donut is not there yet, but we are working with her. It is so wonderful to have a little furry friend like that!
