Ya'll know I am an avid snowboarder and a HUGE FAN! Other than Terje Haakonsen, I have always loved Shaun White, ever since he was a little boy riding around on his Burton Chopper. I had never heard of Shaun White until these Olympics began because I don't really watch snowboarding, but I have been watching him since they started. He is definitely an intruiging personality. I watched the medal ceremony last night and his subsequent interview and you're right, it was freakin' hilarious! Talking about using his gold medal to get babes and how he wanted to use it to meet Sasha Cohen. Too funny!

He is such a cutie -- I loved the story about how he got into skateboarding. He is just so down to earth. I am so glad he was able to come back from having to skate twice in qualifying -- shows that he really is a champion and deserves to be there.

Shaun White still *is* a little boy (he's only like 15 or 16, right?) and he has always KICKED ASS, whether it be snowboarding or skateboarding. Completely fearless and so full of talent. Amazing kid, just freaking amazing.
