Huntington beach - Need help OC ladies

Want to stay as close to the water as possible while still being affordable. We were going to do the Hyatt but we are going to Hawaii the next month so no use in stayin there for 300. Where else would you recommend that is close to the water?

How about the Waterfront Hilton? It's right next to the Hyatt, but not as big and being a bit older and not as posh, prices might be lower ( ... )

The Hilton is right next to the Hyatt, have you checked there? It used to be pretty reasonable, but the last time I checked was before the Hyatt went in. It's nice.

There's a little inn in Sunset Beach, right next to HB called Rancho Bolsa Chica Inn. I haven't stayed there but it's across the street from where I used to live.
Do you need to stay in HB or can you stay at another beach city?
