WHAT would be the greatest thing to get at a shower? Or what was the greatest thing you got? Could be for baby or YOU - Trying to spend 50 or below...for a little girl by the way but am considering getting something for mom!

The greatest thing I got for under $50 was a gift certificate for a mani/pedi.

Another great gift idea is get a cool basket (target has some great options) and fill it with things like Baby Tylenol, Gripe Water or Mylecon (gas drops) the dye free kind!, Digital Thermometer, Cotton Balls, Desitin or Butt Paste, Aquafor, Diapers, Wipes, a Toy, Pacifier, Neosporin, Purell hand sanitizer,Baby Shampoo, Baby Lotion,

Or you could fill the basket with spa type pampering items i.e. lotion, foot rub, pumice stone, bath salts etc...

Here are pics of the baskets available at Target:

I just posted an anonymous post by accident. Oops!

ANyways, I jsut said that I loved the Swaddle Me blankets in the first few weeks with Caitlin. Also, we got a JJCole fleece zip up thing that goes in the carseat. It was great for cold weather and carrying Caitlin from the car to the house.

Also, one gift that I got that was really cute and will be used for years to come is a basket filled with baby board books. I read them to her now and I'm sure she will love the books for years. Plus its educational!

I think the single greatest shower gift I could receive (besides all the usual baby stuff) would be a $50 pregnancy massage gift certificate. I'm ready for a massage right now, and I'm not even at the 4 month point yet~I could only imagine how I'd be feeling (tired, sore, achey) by the time my shower rolls around (I'll be ~6.5-7 months at that point). :)
