Re: How to Lose Friends and Alienate Countries

I watched this video a few nights ago (see geekgrrllurking 's post) and was greatly offended. Rather than post a comment and possibly spam her post, I felt the need to post a response of my own to this boorish attempt at 'humour'.

Thank you. You have put into words exactly what I was feeling and didn't have the brain power to formulate last night when I posted the link to that piece of ... "comedy" ...produced on Fox News.

I take heart in the Canadian outrage this has spawned. Imagine if instead of Canada you substituted the American forces into that little yuk fest. How would Americans have reacted to that do you figure?

Then again, it is Fox News. I shouldn't really expect much from a national news network now should I...

News - they call that news. I always thought news was supposed to be factual. Garbage.
Sadly, some people would think that true news. Grr.

But yeah, this pissed me off. Of course he can say that from his little studio. I bet he couldn't say that to a Canadian soldier's face. Freakin loser. But it doesn't surprise me: Fox News that is. Ann Coulter was on a parody show (made by Fox News) during the beginning of the Iraq invasion and the joke was that Canada was the next Iraq: a country to be invaded to exploit the hell out of its 'docile/stupid' people and natural resources.
