ok so the morning/daytime was boring. so let's fast forward till about 9:00. me, stevie p, rohit, ibrahim, and dan field all headed off towards the michigan union so that we could board the bus for meijer MADNESS. but when we got there, it was basically a crowd of 300 people shoving back and forth to get onto a bus. with some guy on a megaphone

So, I was thinking of you and your post this morning during Mass because of part of Father Francis' homily -- and I told him I was going to share this with you.

He was speaking about the sense of loss from the world's standpoint and viewpoint and what is gain in the eyes of God. And he mentioned that young adults who refrain from the pressure of smoking, drinking and drugs might seem, in the eyes of the world, to miss out on all of the "fun" and pleasures of the temporal world, but what they really gain is peace of mind and heart, and health and well being both spiritually and physically. Then he also said that we should dare to be different -- to live so as to gain what is eternal and to see as God sees. Anyway, it made me think of you. Parts of it made me think of me too, but you will have to read that in my own post later.....

Hahahahaha - I heard about the offering drugs thing but you never told me this whole story! Hahahaha wow, this is kind of amazing. Seriously I was laughing so loud my roommates probably wondered what was going on. XD Particularly the part where you talk to the drunk guys and then run away. Hahaha - seriously. ^_o
