*CHECK*
Just wanted to mark off that I read this post.
You are so completely the opposite of me when it comes to posting. I prefer to write things down as they happen rather than letting them play out first as I like to have all those fine little details I mentioned available to make a full assessment later.

The job I am at now is the first time ever that I haven't been a boss. I was never the type of boss that didn't fraternize with the employees as I have always been of the mindset that if you play well together, you work better as a team. I HATE arseholes who use the "I am the Boss" line or lean on it as an excuse not to hang out. I always thought I was an outstanding boss as I didn't have any disgruntled employees and all these years later they all still keep in touch with me.

It is a corporate rule. We went to the bar by his house yesterday after working a thirteen hour shift together. Then the same bar tonight after working together all evening. Of course, we don't see each other all day, just randomly through it. I really like the girl that works there, but never really talk with her. Tested her tonight. Just asked "Could I get a tall this time?" Yes, she knew which beer.
