yesss ipods will definitely help you train! you can get a little small nano if youre going to mostly use it to run. it wont be too expensive but it will still hold a lot of music.

i also meant to recommend the couch to 5k program to you. tons of my friends have used it to start running! maybe it will help?

A song I frequently listen to while cooking (I like to dance around the kitchen... :x) is Tom Petty's "Saving Grace." It's like taking a shot of pure energy in the ear.

And honestly, ending sentences with prepositions isn't technically incorrect anymore. Just frowned upon by overly pretentious grammar snobs.

oh, Steph! It is not too late!

you're talking to someone who just sent a lot of applications to grad schools in January for playwriting...

write something and believe in it with your heart so much that it is too overwhelming for you to keep inside you that you want to give it to others and let them share in what you have discovered.

I am trying not to sound silly, but we are such passionate, emotional creatures.

do it and if you think you are out of practice, start practicing. Read all of your past works and get inspired.

sending my love,
k

post script: my ipod shuffle is just the right size for me. easy for running, easy for changing playlists.
