Haha, really? I've heard of Lifesavers, but I always imagined them as a boiled sweet.

Ah, well the lifesavers are generally boiled sweets.. There are also fruit tingles lifesavers, which look much more like the ones in your pic. So..

I've actually had these before, I've had a lot of UK and Aus sweets because loads of my family live in Aus and I had a boyfriend that was from the UK.
No candy in the US fizzes ( er to my knowledge ). UK and Aus sweets are just soooo much more interesting.

Really no fizzing? I never liked popping candy but fizzy, sherberty sweets were the best! Have you tried Flying Saucers? And Sherbert Fountains?
