His paintings gave me such peace and comfort when I was little. They still do.
May he rest in that same tranquility that he gave to others here on earth, in heaven.

Yes, he did such beautiful paintings of cabins and cottages. They gave such a homey atmosphere to his paintings. He was a truly gifted artist. It's so sad that he's gone.

yes, that headline was shocking. I still haven't read the article to find out what was the cause. He brought focus back to art fans of the beauty involved in this type of work, much like Norman Rockwell did 60 years ago.

It was a huge shock for me as well. I'd admired and loved his paintings since I was very young. They've been a part of my life for so long, it was almost as though he were a part of my life as well.
I think the article just stated that he passed away from natural causes.
Yes, I love Norman Rockwell's art too.

Yeah, it's quite a shock. He was so young. And so talented. He truly was a painter of light.
