Hmmm

Snagged from Snailbones. It's a Sunday, so... *shrugs as if that explains everything*
Some of these are quite embarassing... in my defense I can only say that some of these songs were acquired for and by other people. lol  I'd forgotten some of them were still in my library....

I am really truly terrible with lyrics, but I recognize two songs!!

#9 Kinks: Dedicated Follower of Fashion. I love the Kinks & have seen them a number of time (long ago).

#8 is Windmills of your Mind but I wonder which version you're listing to :) There are versions and there are versions...

Yay! :)
I have two songs by the Kinks... that one is my favorite, actually. It's hilarious!
Mm, I have three versions of that song, but that one was the Sting version. I prefer Noel Harrison's version, though.

I haven't heard the Noel Harrison version. I have a CD of Dusty Springfield's greatest hits that I listen to in the car and Windmills is on there. Wasn't it the theme to the Steve McQueen's
Thomas Crown Affair movie?

They have it on YT. Here's the link if you'd like to listen to it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WEhS9Y9HYjU

Yes, it was. :) Good movie, although the ending kind of left you hanging.

I barely recognized 8-9-10 and haven't a clue who sang them. I'm stuck in my genre of music. eheheee

hehehe Some of these songs aren't very common songs so I'll be surprised if anyone guesses them.
I'm surprised no one has guessed #5 yet... I thought everybody was going to guess it. lol

haven't a clue, but that's me. I don't know the names to songs even from when I was growing up, except for some Beatles. Can sing along with the lyrics if a song is played, but that's about it. :D

Grrr! I'm sure I should know #1.

Is #4 something by Gerry Rafferty? Bring It Home, maybe?

You've got me on the others though!

Maybe it will come to you later. :)
Yep, it sure is! Wow, I didn't think anyone was going to guess that one. *beams*

Heh, some of the others are a bit... uncommon. ;)

Blimey! Though I didn't remember it quite correctly - but it's been a million years since I listened to Gerry Rafferty, and then only for Baker's Street... isn't it weird the things that stay in your brain? *g*

hehe It is indeed. Just the other day I was singing a song that I haven't heard since I was like five. No clue where that came from... lol

Btw, there are more songs on the list now... I didn't read the directions properly (I do that a lot, sadly... my teachers are always at their wits end with me for that very reason) and only posted the lyrics for 12 songs instead of 15. Oop's...

Ooh, that's lovely... thank you!
I'd send you the North Sea Gas version, but I can't find it on YT.
